Introduction

BlackFog is committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains, operations, or any part of our business. We take our responsibility seriously to act ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implement and enforce effective systems and controls to prevent slavery and human trafficking.

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps we have taken, and continue to take, to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in our business or supply chains.

Our Business

BlackFog is a global leader in anti data exfiltration and anti ransomware solutions. We work with a network of trusted suppliers, partners, and service providers to deliver our products and services to customers worldwide.

Our headquarters are in San Francisco, California, with operations and business partners across multiple countries. We recognize that modern slavery risks can exist in all sectors and jurisdictions, and we are committed to proactively managing these risks.

Our Supply Chains

Our supply chain primarily consists of:

  • Software development and technology service providers
  • Hardware and equipment suppliers
  • Professional services (legal, marketing, accounting)
  • Facilities and operational service providers

We work with suppliers who share our commitment to ethical business practices and who meet the standards we set in our contractual terms and supplier code of conduct.

Policies on Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery. Our policies reflect our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity.

Due Diligence and Risk Assessment

We conduct risk assessments on our supply chains, considering factors such as geographic location, sector risks, and supplier practices. Where potential risks are identified, we take steps to address and mitigate them, which may include:

  • Supplier audits and compliance checks
  • Requiring proof of adherence to labour laws and ethical standards
  • Terminating relationships with suppliers who fail to meet our requirements

Training and Awareness

We provide training for employees involved in procurement, supply chain management, and vendor relationships so they can identify and respond to signs of modern slavery.

Continuous Improvement

We are committed to continually improving our approach. Our planned actions for the coming year include:

  • Expanding supplier due diligence processes
  • Increasing employee awareness and training
  • Reviewing and updating our policies to reflect best practices
