Announces partnership with leading Danish Distributor DCC
Cheyenne, Wyoming January 16th, 2019. BlackFog announces distribution agreement with DCC, a global IT distributor headquartered in Denmark, to resell BlackFog’s cyber security solution.
DCC is a leading distributor of IT surplus products in Europe. With over 3000 customers in more than 70 countries they specialize in surplus computer hardware, shipping around 100,000 units annually. To expand the existing portfolio and support the needs of their growing customer base DCC decided to add BlackFog Privacy to their product assortment range. This will enable DCC customers to present their clients with a solution that will protect them from online threats. BlackFog Privacy provides fileless cyberattack protection with 12 layers of defense against ransomware, spyware, malware, phishing and unauthorized data collection and profiling.
“Staying on top of security threats and compliance requirements relating to GDPR are significant challenges for all companies today. We wanted to be able to offer our customer base an innovative solution that protects from issues such as ransomware and spyware,” commented Kent Jeppesen, CEO, DCC. “BlackFog’s technology is unique in that it blocks the outbound data flow whilst keeping all of the data on the device, preventing threats before they are detected by anti-virus software or firewalls. BlackFog Privacy complements our core hardware business nicely and we are excited to be able to expand our solutions portfolio to include it.”
“Our business in Europe is continuing to grow at a rapid pace and we believe DCC is well positioned to help us to continue our expansion in Scandinavia and beyond,” said Dr. Darren Williams, CEO and Founder of BlackFog. We look forward to this new partnership and we are confident that DCC will help us achieve further growth in the European SME market.”
